USA GOOD/BAD NEWS

The Bad News: Chelsea Davis just had a really nasty landing on floor exercise and had to be carried out by Valeri to medics.
The Good News: She did, however, walk back with ice strapped to her leg, but walking normally.  She may be okay.

As many of you now know, it has been confirmed as a dislocated kneecap.

  3. It kinda sucks when someone who seems to be peaking is thrown a wrench and may be out of it all and not able to take their chance to show what they have in them

  4. Oh yay, the US' injury fest continues. Fabulous.

  5. Chelsea dislocated her kneecap. USAG just released a statement with announcing the lineups and the designation of Chelsea as the alternate.

  6. I think this is why Kytra should have at least been another Alternate...watch the US pull a 2008 Olympics and have another person get injured in warm-ups...well they pull a 2003 worlds and throw Kytra on to the team?

  7. i'm really sad for chelsea. it would have been her chance to really show off, finally, after all those injuries.

Also, shows the point of having the second alternate, aka Jetter there just in case. what if someone else gets injured and can't compete?

  8. Is there still time to fly someone over??? Even if they could, that person would need some time to acclimate to the time change and the European equipment. I hope Chelsea can compete at least once so that she can (hopefully) take a medal with the team and have the experience. She's had so much bad luck.

  9. No questions asked, Kytra Hunter should've been in Rotterdam! I think she's more useful than Bridget or Chelsea! It baffles me that she wasn't even taken as an alternate! If the USA does well, I will be extremely suprised...

  10. Soooo if Bridget misses bars in prelims, would Chelsea be in for bars in finals??

  11. The plastic on the bars is because one of the training gyms has four sets of bars and beams instead of 2,so they put plastic on the bars so that the teams that were training in this gym were not getting an advantage

What the hell? Are you stupid? WHAT ON EARTH would Kytra have been useful for? She sucks at bars and her VT, BB, and FX are no better than what we already have!

    Please explain yourself.
