Hiya peeps!

I am sans pictures for now, but what I can tell you is that it has been a busy day in the Ahoy at Rotterdam.  The delegations have begun arriving and everyones has been very busy accrediting them. My job today is to cover the arrival of the delegations and talk to everyone about their journeys, so it has been quite fun.

Funny stuff.

Talking to the US girls in the morning was funny.  They were tired and pretty jaded.  Asac did al the taking.  When Mackenzie Caquatto kept shaking her head, Alicia instructed her to 'use her words' and talk to me.  It was pretty amusing.
The Romanians came in wearing purple- not leotards- their tracksuits-.  They look great in it.  Raluca is teeny tiiinnnnyy!
They seem pretty chipper, but I guess they didn't have a long flight.

Dom Pegg and Charlotte Mackie did sneaky stretches in the back of the plane to keep from getting tight.

The Aussies were also cheerful.   Georgia Wheeler said she had a great time, and Georgia Bonora's coach, John Hart said he thought going there was a terrific bit of training for both teams and any doubts there might have been about sending their 'A' team have been completely assuaged.

The Uzbekistani team is teeny tiny and look all of eleven years old.

The Italians are here and looking quite cheerful.

That's al.  Pics soon!

  1. Put some of the Romanians in the purple leos!

  2. And how are the Spaniards doing? I know they arrived today at noon. :D

  3. Just wondering: What is your 'job' in Rotterdam actually? Are you a volunteer or something?

  4. im so excited! please give more info and pics...thanks...anyone know if it will be free to watch on universal sports or do you have to subscribe to watch this year?

  5. Have fun!! Can't wait to see pics/hear your commentary!

  6. That's so cool! Looking forward to your Worlds updates! :D

  7. I'm so glad (and jealous!) you are there. Have a great time and I cannot wait to read all about it!

  8. Gymnastics isn't the same with Alicia Sacramone and her fabulous interviews. I hope she stick around for another 2 years, she's more interesting than most gymnasts.
