According to an Associated Press Article, Russia has won the women's team event at the Japan Cup with a team score of 173.850, while Japan took second with 169.850.

The girls on the Russian team were;

Ramilia Musina
Ksenia Afanasyeva
Aliya Mustafina
Tatiana Nabieva
Ana Dementieva

The Japanese Team;

Kyoko Oshima
Yuko Shintake
Ri Tanaka
Koko Tsurumi
Mai Yamagishi

The scores were interesting.  Japan and Russia were fairly close on floor and bars but Russia whooped Japan on vault and beam.

Tatiana Nabieva received the highest score of the day on vault with a 14.950 on vault.
Ksenia Afanasyeva, a long-time Couchy favorite, who has been on the comeback trail had the most successful performance of the day, with a 14.750 on vault (2nd), a 14.550 on beam (2nd) and a 14.700 on floor (1st).  She seems to be doing terrifically.
Koko Tsurumi led the pack on bars with a 15.400, followed by Mustafina with a 15.050.
Mustafina also came third on vault and 3rd on beam.
Yuko Shintake also did well on bars, coming in 4th with a 14.450
Anna Dementieva had a great meet on beam, taking a 14.700, the top spot.
