According to Miss Val's latest press conference, red shirt junior, Brittani McCullough's nursing schedule is so busy and so full on that she never gets to train with the team.  She is doing twelve hour clinics and has a fixed schedule, meaning that she just has to train whenever she can.

Sometimes, Miss Val says, she come in at 7am, when the rest of the girls train at 9am, or drives herself to one of Jim or Chris's gyms to train at night when she is done with school.  This all means she has zero social life, but it does mean she gets to win the Pac- 10 floor title!

Also, Miss Val says that one of the Bruins, often Marci Bernholtz, is always with Britt when she trains.  Without being asked, they just go to show their support for her.  Sweet.

  1. Awww...stories like these make me feel all warm and fuzzy. ;-) What an awesome group of women! I'm so proud of them for all that they've accomplished this year (and major props to Brittani for taking on a difficult major while being a Bruin - a friend of mine became a nurse, and the preparation is INTENSE). Go Bruins!
